The Pilgrim Story!


The Story of the Pilgrims <-- Imagine fearing for your life so much, you leave your family and country, live in another society for a decade trying to start a new life, only to decide it wasn’t what you hoped. So, you decide to move to a wilderness where you can truly start from scratch, only to nearly starve and/or freeze to death with nearly no support, except what you can muster.

The landing of the Pilgrims <-- The Mayflower had departed the English port of Plymouth in September 1620 for the Colony of Virginia. Of the 102 passengers, 37 were Puritan Separatists who intended to establish a new settlement in the New World. The rest were servants, farmers, adventurers and tradesmen who were to support the fledgling colony.

A tour of Mayflower II <-- New Bedford Mayor Scott Lang gets a rare tour of the Mayflower II while it's undergoing routine maintenance while in drydock at a Fairhaven shipyard.
